I had an errand down town on Friday morning and while downtown I saw a little sign that said “Estate Sale” so of course I had to check it out. It was located in the historical district, that is always a good thing. I really found some great things. This peach picture of an old advertisement was one of my favorite finds.
Luckily I have never had to use one of these things but it was in pristine condition. The patina was gorgeous, a museum piece. I didn’t get it, just appreciated it’s history. I bought a little bag of pieces and here is what it contained. Tea anyone.
Linens. Can never pass these up.
These andirons are on my hearth even as I type. They are heavy boys. Doing a little research and they are suppose to be George Washington. I am in the process of listing these and many other sweet things. I keep telling myself I can’t keep this stuff! I need to list it on Etsy. But some of it’s just so awesome! I did poke back a few things for gifts.
This week in the Favorite Find Friday I went with a Yellow Theme. There is another theme but you will not ever know what it is so I will tell you!!! Many of the sellers are people that I have met thru an online course called Creatively Made Business. It’s an amazing class with a great network of women all over the USA and really I guess the world, all trying to start their own business or rework an existing one. I thought it would be neat to feature their products here. I think it was really cool that they all had something yellow in their shops! Who knew!
Have a great week. Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.
