Good Morning! I’ve done 95% of my Christmas shopping online again this year at places like Ebay, Amazon and Etsy. Every afternoon my door has been laden with boxes and it’s such a happy time! I get all settled in with a cup of coffee, a nice break in the day to open and admire in person what I’ve bought. I haven’t been disappointed yet! A few of the boxes have been for me. It’s hard to do all that shopping and not come across something I HAVE to have.
I can’t show my gifts of course but will share a favorite find I came across and was actually surprised when the box arrived. I have a collection of old wooden Pinocchios that has grown over the years, which started with 3 rather large ones I purchased for a song. They are quite fun set out at the holidays and a few stay out year around. The boys tease me that they run around the house at night. This image cracks me up as some of them I can really see scurrying around. They really poke fun at me about the one in the cage and point him out to all their friends and say “See” as if it’s proof that their mom IS crazy.

This little guy I found on Ebay. I mis-read his size and was expecting him to be about 19″ tall so you can imagine my sheer delight when I unwrapped him. Okay maybe you can’t but I squealed! He is my favorite!! I set him up with some vintage bottle brush Christmas trees and took him picture. He is just the best! 
I’ve been having fun decorating for Christmas and readying my home for guest as I haven’t done this in many years as we have traveled for vacation the last few years during the holiday break. I will take pictures and post all my happy decorating and creating soon.
Etsy has some wonderful gift ideas and it’s such a great place to find handmade items and help support artist all over the country. I only bought 2 things while making this Favorite Find list. I had to keep telling myself to stay on task!! This is becoming increasingly more difficult with age.
