Bella Rustica is a vintage market hosted once a year at a rustic event venue around Nashville benefitting Agape. Last year it was quite close to Huntsville but this year it was in Lebanon, TN, a good two-hour drive. I headed up early Friday with two girlfriends and we saw a another friend driving and she pulled over and rode up with us! The time passed quickly while we visited and caught up with each other.
The show was at Legacy Farms. It was perfect. There were close to 70 vendors. Everything from artist to antiques.
The first booth I went in I was home! I stayed for a very long time. Loved it!! They have an online store that can be found at www.jbsmercatile.com It was my language. I could have left after her booth. Honestly. I was that Happy!!
It was hard to move on without moving in. But I did. Many great vendors.
It was so very hot! They had a great covered area with iced tea and lemonade for sale. It was so tempting with fresh mint, strawberries, lemons and blood orange juice to embellish your drink. I visited here twice. It was truly August weather!
This lady was from North Carolina. Her booth was nicely done with the ironstone and vintage style clothes.
The deer were on either side of the line for lunch. So fun!
Look at the size of the bread board? The biggest I’ve ever seen!!!
“Cookie Face”
As I was making my rounds, I spotted these children petting the horses. They eagerly told me they were friendly horses and they had named them “Milkshake, Cookie face and Lucy”. Lucy was a colt. He enjoyed the attention I could tell.
We made a few trips to the car and had to re-pack it at the end and oohed and aahed over each other’s purchases as we fit it all in. We grabbed a cold drink before heading home and we talked about what all we had seen and wish we had bought or what we could make but mostly we said, “did you see…”
A few of my finds
I collect old sewing things so I couldn’t hardly pass this up. It holds sewing machine needles. You spin the silver needle to find your machine and then you open the drawer and pull out the wooden needle case that has your needles. It’s so awesome!!!The black and white baby shoes I went back to the booth and got after lunch. I just couldn’t leave them.
Bell Rustica is a great show and worth the trip. It’s well done and for a worthy cause. They are on Facebook and here on the web to watch for the show next year. Last year it was in September so it snuck up on me this year. They have it at a different venue every year.
